The installation was realized in collaboration with the art gallery
De Burcht in Leiden (The Netherlands). The gallery was located at
the bottom of a hill on which the medieval fortress of Leiden was
built. A well was standing in the middle of the fortress. For the
installation a microphone, a loudspeaker and a camera were installed
on the bottom of the well, the camera focused to the top. In the gallery
a table was installed with a monitor, a chair and a microphone so
the public in the gallery could watch and talk to the people looking
down in the well. |
