Video installation,
S-VHS, color 30 min
The video installation Colonel Korsakov was a study for a character
from the theater play “From all those who have nothing to say,
those who keep quiet are the most pleasant”. The installation
consisted of the tv screen, mounted on a chariot, driven by an electric
engine and a mechanism to let it drive around in at random directions.
The image on the screen were 'talking brains', two brain hemispheres
that were manipulated by the sound pulses, filmed live and this image
was sent to the monitor. The sound was a speech of a drunk man in
combination with a sound mix.
